I kind of kidded myself that I would be able to work a full time job then keep up the vast amount of work I have per week freelancing. In 2 weeks I have gone from struggling to down right hating freelancing now. 

I work nice hours and have flexi time. But after being on a computer 8 hours in the day, coming home to more work on the computer is just stupid. My eyes WILL fall out.

I have turned away thousands of pounds worth of work these past 2 weeks too. Its sickening to think about it, but I just couldn’t keep up with it all. On average I get 2-3 requests a day, more on the weekend. Now on average, I come home to 90+ unread emails and every one I have had to turn away. I haven’t had time for anything - which sucks big time. Barely made it out for Jays birthday night out. 

I know I am moaning here, but basically I am owning up to the fact that I can’t cope - basically I failed lol. Shouldn’t really put a ‘lol’ here, but my god this post is odd. 

So! … as of next week - no more freelancing, unless its something I can maintain. Will still use JaysGirl as my online name, and hopefully will still update this blog :)

I wonder who will people will turn to next for myspace design :S … if you can do myspace design btw, leave me a comment here as I have a few people asking and I don’t know where to turn them. 

To liven this post up … my new job is amazing. A M A Z I N G :)

The people - awesome, the place- awesome, the work - awesome, the everything - spot on. The style of work they have asked for is the exact style I have worked up to. I pretty much love it. 

Lets hope they keep me !
